Spring 2020- Join Italian Excursion when we explore the unique field of "worker-owned" businesses of the Emilia-Romagna region. For over 150 years this region has created a stable economy for the people in this area by including those who do the actual work in the day to day management and the sharing of profits. After several days of workshops to get a better understanding of this alternative way to do business, there will be some relaxing activities in the following days so you can call your visit a true "vacation". Please inquire to express your level of interest in this specialized tour. firstname.lastname@example.org. Cost and dates to be announced.

Feedback from Travelers
Jamie, Nevada….” I know I need more time to put it all in prospective but I will say that the hill towns where we toured was the best part of my adventure. Thank you so much, Italian Excursion and Cheryl. You gave us the freedom to explore while creating a feeling of comfort and support.”
Janet, San Diego…….“Traveling with Cheryl and Alison was not just an interesting, informative experience, but fun, easy and comfortable. Our family reunion was better than we could have imagined. The food and wine experiences were fabulous; the historical sites were amazing. And the artisan workshops we visited gave us a true appreciation of the heritage passed from generation to generation. We plan to do it again with Italian Excursion.”
Cindy and Michael, San Francisco…….“We really liked this way of traveling with a small group, to less traveled places in Italy. No rushing or waiting in lines, no crowds to contend with and some great new places we wouldn’t have found on our own. It felt as though we became part of the little village we stayed in.”
Tina and John, Toronto Canada…….“” We so enjoyed the intimacy of the small group; the comfort and varied itinerary; the knowledge of the art and cultures of Italy. We got to know some of the people who lived in the little village even though we couldn't speak each other's languages. It didn't matter as it was just a genuine connection with very nice people. Thank you for the trip of a lifetime!””
Anne, San Diego….“Cheryl was a super host from the time she picked us up as we arrived in Italy till she dropped us off at the end of the week. She always consulted the group as she planned each day’s activities, respectful of pacing and choosing daily itineraries she thought we would like. She was organized, and warm and welcoming, without doing more than we wanted or needed. There was also plenty of free time to lounge, enjoying the scenery and weather, or to read, if we chose to have some time alone. We enjoyed every minute of our stay with Cheryl, and her love of Italy was apparent throughout.”
