Cheryl Alexander, Italian Excursion

Cheryl has been traveling to Europe, particularly Italy, for almost a decade.  Her interest in Italy, its history, art and rich culture led her to purchase property near Orvieto, allowing her to spend more time there.  Cheryl's exploration of Italy include the regions of Tuscany, Umbria, Lazio, as well as the areas around Venice and south towards Sorrento.  She continues to travel into Italy's less traveled regions, and enjoys sharing her discoveries with others.

These tours are designed to whet one's appetite for the less traveled areas of Italy, and to encourage travelers to strike out on their own adventures.  If you or a group of fellow travelers wish to have arrangements made for a longer tour, please e-mail Cheryl with your request or plan.

Alison Berry

Alison Berry, Italian Excursion

Alison Berry moved to Italy three years ago and lives in Northern Lazio where she can see a 13th century church from her balcony. She studied Art History and Classical Civilization and worked for years for an art auction house. Now she spends her time showing the splendors of her region of Italy to others, making books, doing printmaking, reading fiction, and tasting lots of wine. She delights every day in the beauty of her adopted home. Her husband Neil is British and their son Max is a student in Seattle.

Testimonials

"Traveling with Cheryl was not just an interesting, informative experience, but fun, easy and comfortable. I plan to do it again."
- Tris, Florida

"We enjoyed this kind of travel, with a small group, to less traveled places in Italy. No rushing or waiting in lines, no crowds to contend with, and some great new places we wouldn't have found on our own."
- Susan and Ronald, San Francisco
